Now don’t get me wrong, I am well loved and taken are of at work, but I do need to file one compliant.
Yesterday, I went into our break room to see by chance if anyone was eating something they would share with me. Since no one was there, I started sniffing around the baskets that hold snacks for the staff and patient’s, hoping that something might have dropped on the floor, when I smelled something familiar. As I got closer I could see that my co-worker Bob had left a big giant Milkbone in one of the baskets for me. There was only one problem, I couldn’t reach it. Even if I could have, I surmised that the basket could fall on my head. So I did what any smart dog would do, I started crying until a human showed up to help me.
While I was happily chomping on the bone I started thinking, why does Bob make sure that the humans have baskets filled with snacks and he only puts one snack in my basket? The more I thought about it, the more unfair I found this to be, Knowing it’s important to treat employees equally I talked to Doc about filing a complaint with the HR department. And you know what she said? ” I told Bob to only give you one bone a day, so if you are going to file a complaint, it will be against me. ” Sheepishly I looked away and said, “Never mind.”
I just LOVE Grover, he is a friendly, calming friend for all us at CD to mingle with.
Thanks Lori, I love being top dog around here and being able to cheer everyone up.
Doc is wrong! Grover always deserves a full basket.
Now we just need to convince her of that
